Addition of Dell's Consumer Product Line Strengthens Bell
     Micro Latin America's Offerings in Growing Mobility Space

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Bell Microproducts

American division has signed a distribution agreement with Dell Inc.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bell Micro will distribute Dell
laptops and netbooks to retailers and SMBs throughout Latin America.

Bell Micro Latin America's vice president of sales and marketing, Yali
Luna, notes that the inclusion of Dell in the product portfolio is part
of Bell Micro's strategy to bring on additional high profile brands
that can help to diversify the Latin America division's portfolio --
particularly in the area of mobility. "Mobility is one of the key areas
where the market is growing in Latin America," said Luna. "We are
committed to our customers in this region, and want to ensure that our
linecard contains all of the key brands that they expect as they move
towards mobile technology."

Dell products will be shipped from Bell Micro's Miami warehouse to
Latin America. In the future, shipments are expected go directly from
Dell's manufacturing facilities in China to Bell Micro's facilities in
Chile and Brazil.
