VoX Communications Launches Its $69.95 Unlimited Voice and Data Plan on Nokia's N900 Maemo Smart Phone
GlobeNewswire
2010-03-10

Nokia's SIP-Based Linux Smart Phone Presents Serious
                   Competition for Other Devices

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., March 10, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- VoX
Communications Corp, a provider of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
mobile phone services and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pervasip Corp.
(OTCBB:PVSP), has become the first carrier to deploy a mobile-VoIP,
unlimited data and voice service, on the latest full-featured smart
phone from Nokia.

Pervasip's Chief Information Officer Mark Richards noted, "We are very
excited to be a voice and data service provider for this mobile
computer. The N900 uses the Linux derivative Maemo operating system, an
open-source platform that enables the Maemo community to freely modify
and continually develop software as part of the shared goal of bringing
added value to Maemo. VoX is a Linux shop and we employ several Linux
experts. We congratulate Nokia for developing such a sensational
introductory Linux phone. In our opinion, there has never been a more
responsive and intuitive device."

There is considerable interest about the Nokia N900 on the Internet,
which compares very favorably to devices such as the iPhone. An iPhone
comparison can be found at the website

-than-apples-iphone-and-5-ways-its-not/

"This is also the first phone we have seen that has Skype installed at
the manufacturer and we recognize the future ability for a Skype video
call via the front facing camera," said Richards. "The phone even has a
stand on the back to position the phone for Skype video calling. Some
of these advantages, when combined with our $69.95 per month unlimited
voice, data and text plan, make the combination of this smart phone
along with a VoX service plan a very compelling offering. I have great
respect for Google's Nexus One phone -- but the N900 is generally
regarded as a better device and I applaud Nokia for its vision in
bringing Linux to the smart phone. The Linux development community will
certainly embrace the open source initiative that Nokia has created and
their OVI App store will undoubtedly grow very rapidly because of this
appealing technical and philosophical commercial strategy."

Vox is selling the N900 with a service plan today and anticipates that
it will soon release a software download of its VoIP product. Then
consumers who have already purchased an N900 will be able to subscribe
to the VoX Mobile VoIP plan with a simple signup process that will
deliver the software to the phone. The Nokia N900 with VoX Mobile
service is immediately available to order from the VoX website at
http://www.voxcorp.net.
