ADAOX Launches ESET's Latest Security Solutions in the Middle East

ADAOX Middle East, the regional business development center of ESET NOD32 Antivirus, has announced the availability of ESET's Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server and ESET Smart Security 4.2 in the Middle East region. The new ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server features major advancements over its predecessor, ESET NOD32 Antivirus for Microsoft Exchange Server.

ADAOX also announced the launch of the version 4.2 of ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus in the Middle East.

All main modules of ESET Smart Security - Anti-virus, Anti-spyware, Personal Firewall and Anti-spam - are now improved to ensure better stability and performance of the software. Especially the new version offers full support for Windows Automated Installation Kit 2.0 for Windows 7 and Mozilla Thunderbird 3 email clients. The version 4.2 also features an improved anti-spam capability with Trusted Zone Authentication to enhance the security of portable computers and Firewall Profiles, another new feature added. ESET also made improvements to the Encrypted Communication Scanner.
New features of ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server include:
- Improved anti-virus and anti-spyware protection against evolving threats
- New anti-spam protection integrates technologies such as RBL, DNSBL, fingerprinting, reputation checking, content analysis, Bayesian filtering, rules, manual whitelisting/blacklisting to ensure maximum detection of email threats
- Graylisting is available as an additional (optional) layer of anti-spam protection
- Transport layer protection increases scalability and performance
- Improved scanning of email database
- Flexible message quarantine rules allow many-to-one or one-to-one mapping between recipient email address and quarantine mailbox
- New Anti-Stealth technology protects against emerging rootkits and Self-Defense prevents malicious software from degrading the effectiveness of protection
- Intuitive mail server performance monitoring and statistics simplify management
- ESET SysInspector and ESET SysRescue simplify system diagnosis and recovery
New features of ESET Smart Security 4.2:
- Improved anti-virus and anti-spyware protection against evolving threats
- Improved Personal Firewall, Anti-spam and Encrypted Communication
- Some improvements in Settings and GUI for better configuration of the software
- Full support for Windows Automated Installation Kit 2.0 for Windows 7

ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server, ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.2 and ESET Smart Security 4.2 are available on ADAOX's Web site.
To install version 4.2 correctly, ESET requests its users to uninstall previous versions of the software and download version 4.2 using the same valid username and password that they had used for the earlier version.
