ASUS Launches ASUS G50V Gaming Notebook in India

ASUS has launched the ASUS G50V gaming notebook in India. Aimed at portable gamers, the G50V looks at delivering extreme gaming performance with intense visual computing power.
ASUS has equipped the G50V with an Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT graphics processor backed by 512 MB of dedicated GDDR3 memory to provide a complete gaming experience for the Indian gaming enthusiast. The 9700M has 32 DirectX 10-class "compute cores" and a 128-bit memory interface, and it is largely derived from the G96 GPU that powers desktop graphics cards like the GeForce 9500 GT.

The G50V features a 15.6" LCD with a fast screen response time delivering sharper graphic effects with no ghosting and shadows. With ASUS' crystal bright screen technology the game comes alive with vibrant colors and details. While gaming the second display screen will keep users posted about any emails and messages, tip them off about a memo note and even notify them when the CPU is loading.
The latest Nvidia GeForce 9700M GT gives the G Series a new level of graphics power promising a smooth, stutter-free visual experience that gives users the best possible 3D performance. The G50V offer users more storage space with two SATA hard disc drives offering up to 640 GB. The CPU Level Up gives users a choice of performance modes.
With HDMI, the industry standard digital interface, a single cable will support standard, enhanced, or high-definition video and plus multi-channel digital audio while ensuring data integrity during transfers. With LifeFrame, SmartLogon and Virtual Camera technologies, ASUS offers users a complete solution to communicate wirelessly, making it easier for users to log on to their system, capture and edit images, and video conference with multiple parties in separate locations at the same time.
