Chorus SVC is the first SOA version control system designed
to efficiently manage version problems in a large distributed
network
Ithaca, NY, Dec. 13, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Service-oriented
architecture (SOA) is taking center stage in enterprise architecture.
In response, ATC-NY has announced the development of Chorus SVC to
reduce compatibility problems in SOA environments. SOA enables parallel
development by multiple disparate teams, each with its own delivery and
maintenance schedule. The basic idea of service versioning is fairly
simple, but its implementation requires strict governance.
Chorus SVC records the history of services along with each services'
dependencies and displays the impact of a new service before it is
deployed. Chorus also displays the incompatible differences between two
service versions.
Chorus SVC supports many of the popular SOA technologies used today:
WS-BPEL, WSDL, XSLT, and XML Schema.
Features
With Chorus SVC(tm) you can
-- Identify which clients will break before the revised service gets
deployed
-- View up-to-date service dependency graphs
-- Assess the current state of the system (e.g., what services are
deployed/deprecated)
-- View differences between service versions
-- Import and monitor BPEL 2.0 programs
-- Notify service clients about new service versions
-- Save custom metadata for each service version
Supported Environments
-- Windows XP/Vista/7
-- Linux (Coming Soon)
