Airtel Offers 'True & Rich' Broadband Experience with New Plans

Bharti Airtel Ltd. has introduced two new broadband plans that offer its customers a new 'true and rich' broadband experience. The new plans offer 1 Mbps speed at Rs. 1,699/- and 512 Kbps speed at Rs. 1,099/- as well as additional free VAS bundles worth up to Rs. 500/- every month.
The free VAS bundle includes services like unlimited gaming on Games on Demand, anti-virus software PC Secure, Airtel Speed on Demand and Online Desktop.
Airtel said its new plans offer its broadband customers across the country greater access to 'true and rich' broadband, for example customers currently experiencing 512 Kbps can double their broadband speed to 1 Mbps by paying an additional Rs. 100 only.

Airtel broadband customers can avail of these two new plans:
- Freedom 1699 for 1 Mbps: @ Rs. 1699 per month, experience 1 Mbps broadband speed with additional free VAS worth Rs. 500 every month - Unlimited gaming on Games on Demand, Anti-Virus software PC Secure, Airtel Speed on Demand and Online Desktop
- Swift 1099 for 512 Kbps: @ Rs.1099 per month, experience 512 Kbps broadband speed with Free Call Value worth Rs. 100 per month

Airtel provides broadband (DSL) and telephone services (fixed line) in 95 cities and had 2,827,881 customers as on June 31, 2009 of which 40.3% were subscribing to broadband/Internet services.
