Bharti Airtel Ltd. announced that it is the official Broadband Sponsor of Cricket on YouTube for IPL 2010. For the entire duration of the IPL, cricket enthusiasts enjoying the action on YouTube on an Airtel Broadband connection, will have a free upgrade to a speed of 2 Mbps.
Airtel said its broadband customers will be able to enjoy a 'buffer-free' live cricket viewing experience on www.youtube.com/ipl from 12th March - 25th April.
The company said this is a step towards drawing more people towards viewing major sporting and entertainment events online through Airtel Broadband.
Airtel Broadband has also introduced a social media game 'Fastest Fifty' to engage with the community on Orkut where customers will be able to predict outcomes, compete against each other and win exciting prizes.
This limited period offer is available only for the duration of the IPL on www.youtube.com/ipl.
