GUANGZHOU, China, Aug. 18, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amico Games Corp.
(OTCBB:AMCG), an info tech company specializing in developing and
operating cell phone multiplayer networked games, today announced the
total registered user base of its mobile games has swollen to exceed 27
million as of June 30, 2010.
The registered users of all the mobile games of AMCG have reached
27,143,787 as of June 30, 2010, increased 25.7% or 5.5 million over
21.5 million in January 2010. During the first six months of 2010, the
growth rate of registered users is approximately 1 million per month.
The game Miracle Journey to the West still remains the most popular
game in June, contributing around 73% of the total registered
subscriber base of AMCG, and bringing in approximately 759,000
registered users on top of May 2010.
"We are pleased to see there is a promising swell in our registered
user base during the first half of year 2010," said Mr. Peter Liu, CEO
and President of AMCG. "We have been putting in a lot of resources to
improve the content of our games and user experience. The goals we are
driven by are more internal benchmarks; what our users think about our
quality and their experience of playing our games. That's how we
measure success. It's more important to us for those who play our games
to be 100% happy and stay with us as long as possible," Liu concluded.
