Aptech Names Anuj Kacker as Chief Operating Officer - Retail

Aptech Ltd., a provider of learning solutions, has named Anuj Kacker as its Chief Operating Officer - Retail. All business unit heads of retail brands will report to Kacker for domestic business.
Prior to this, Kacker was the Global Head, Arena Animation and Senior Vice President, Aptech Ltd. and also acted as global head for the major brands of Aptech including Aptech Computer Education and Aptech Worldwide.
Kacker has continuously helped power the company's rapid growth worldwide in over 35 countries, developing the business in geographically diverse countries (starting from Fiji in the east to Latin America in the west) and culturally as diverse as India, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia or Nigeria.
Ninad Karpe, MD and CEO, Aptech Ltd., said, "Over the years, we have launched various retails brands, which have made a mark in the domestic market. It is now time to bring about cost and operational synergy across all these brands. Hence, Anuj will take over the responsibility of COO - Retail. Over the past 6 years, Anuj has demonstrated good understanding of the education business in India and at the global level."
An Electronics Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a management graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, Anuj has over 23 years of experience in a variety of highly competitive industries like Pharmaceuticals, Paints and Consumer Durables.
Besides Aptech, his experience includes successful tenures in multinationals like ICI as well as other well known brands like Akai and Jenson and Nicholson.
Anuj was awarded the 'Indira Super Achiever Award' for 2007, recognizing his talent, competence, skills and contribution to the organization.
