Bridge People & Technology Partners With BIO-key to Protect Access to Enterprise Solution With Fingerprint Biometrics
GlobeNewswire
2010-10-27

User Identity is Secured by BIO-key Biometric Identification
When Logging Into Bridge's Learning Management and
                   Performance Evaluation System

WALL, N.J., Oct. 27, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BIO-key International,
Inc. (OTCBB:BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric identification
solutions, announced the successful deployment by South Africa's
largest petrochemical and energy group of BIO-key's fingerprint
biometrics to secure access to Bridge People & Technology's (Bridge)
KnowHow, an enterprise wide Learning Management and Performance
Evaluation system.

Bridge initially designed KnowHow, its flagship product, in 2001. Over
the past 9 years Bridge has been enhancing this solution along with
best business practices as well as requirements from its clients, to
enable it to be an integral part of the training landscape for all of
its clients. BIO-key's fingerprint biometric identification is the
latest feature to be added to KnowHow so that with the simple touch of
a finger, an employee can quickly and securely log into the KnowHow
solution.

"One of our guiding principles that made KnowHow the software it is
today is to make it easy for the users to access training materials and
for managers to acknowledge training attendance and performance. When
one of our clients inquired about adding biometrics for user login to
replace passwords, which can be easily shared, lost or forgotten, we
chose to partner with BIO-key since BIO-key provides the ultimate
solution which offers both superior accuracy and flexibility. BIO-key
is the only fingerprint solution that allows our customers to use
fingerprint readers from any of the major fingerprint reader
manufacturers," said Gary Galanti, co-founder of Bridge.

"With BIO-key's fingerprint user identification, employees have a fast
and convenient method to establish their identity when logging into
KnowHow and equally important, it removes the requirements for
passwords, ID cards and PINs and their associated costs, while giving
the organization a higher level of security in preventing unauthorized
access," added Mike DePasquale, BIO-key's president and CEO. "We look
forward to growing our business with Bridge, an organization that
recognizes the importance of addressing the ever growing need to secure
the network and the desktop for both the safety and security of the
employees and the organization."
