Brightpoint Announces Agreement With Microsoft to Launch Windows Phone Online Shop in the Middle East and Africa

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 19, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Brightpoint, Inc.
(Nasdaq:CELL), a global leader in providing supply chain solutions to
the wireless industry, today announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint
Middle East FZE ("Brightpoint"), has entered into an agreement with
Microsoft Middle East and Africa ("Microsoft") to launch a dedicated
Windows(R) Phone Online Shop servicing the Middle East and Africa.

The Windows Phone Online Shop will enable consumers to purchase a
variety of Windows Phone devices online. Consumers will also be able to
perform device comparisons, read product reviews, watch demo videos and
share recommendations through an integrated social media platform. The
shop will be accessible in English, French, Arabic and Turkish.
