Field Technicians Can Now Manage Entire Device Installation
Process From the iPhone
SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comverge, Inc.

today announced the release of a new set of applications for the iPhone
that are designed to help field technicians better manage the
scheduling, device commissioning, testing and inventory management
aspects of energy management device installation. The easy-to-use
applications for scheduling, device commissioning, and inventory
management are included as part of IntelliSOURCE, Comverge's
industry-leading enterprise-class software platform and operating
environment.
IntelliPORT, which enables both Comverge and non-Comverge technicians
to test installation of Comverge's IntelliPEAK digital control units
(DCUs) using an iPhone or iPod touch, is available exclusively on
Apple's online App Store. IntelliPORT requires an infrared adaptor that
attaches directly to the hand-held device.
