Crestron Asia today at a press conference in Bangalore announced its strategic alliance with O2K Technology Services to offer Integrated Building Technology solutions in India. Also O2K Technology Services announced the setting up of 'Smart Home' in Bangalore.

July 4, 2012 /India PRwire/ -- Crestron Asia, Asian arm of the US-headquartered Crestron Electronics Inc., provider of ultimate technology lifestyle, today announced its strategic alliance with Bangalore-based O2K Technology Services Pvt. Ltd. (O2K Technology Services) to offer end-to-end Integrated Building Technology (IBT) solutions in India.

The partnership will enable O2K Technology Services to provide Crestron IBT solutions aimed at intuitively managing, monitoring and scheduling every environmental & audio/video system from any touch screen, web browser or mobile device for peak performance and optimal energy savings.

To showcase the efficacy of Crestron IBT solutions, O2K Technology Services has set up a 'Smart Home' in Bangalore. The 'Smart Home' has been set up with an investment of Rs. three crore and O2K Technology Services plans to additionally invest Rs. 15 crore into this exciting project over the next 24 months. The 'Smart Home' was unveiled by Mr. Kanny Leong, Director, Crestron Asia here today.

Addressing media at a press conference Mr. Kanny Leong said our alliance with O2K Technologies is aimed at bringing the best technology available in the US to India. Besides offering end-to-end solutions, we will offer regular technical training & certification programs for likeminded system integrators and engineers across India.

O2K Technology Services will primarily focus on home automation and green building segment, revealed Mr. Premkumar, Managing Director, O2K Technology Services. Further, he said, environmentalism has evolved from being a mere concept into an ideology and has spread its roots into every industry, fostering consciousness about the world we live in into everyone's mind. Our partnership with Crestron will enable us to inculcate the same into the world of technology, he added.
