Huawei Launches Ascend G300, Y200 Smartphones in India

Huawei Devices, a provider of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions, has launched its Ascend G300 and Y200 smartphones in India. The company said these two smartphone are loaded with engaging features and are a great value for money proposition.
The Huawei Ascend G300 is the first phone of the "Ascend G" Series and is targeted at those looking for stylish, feature-rich multimedia phones. It offers a 4-inch WVGA IPS hard screen with anti-figure print design, which supports auto-rotation to optimize media viewing and Internet browsing. In addition, an ambient light sensor allows the user to see the screen and view media uninterrupted in any lighting environment.
The Ascend G300 has a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera, which also features video recording capabilities and an LED flash. Featuring a 1 GHz CPU and Android 2.3 operating system, the Huawei Ascend G300 offers access to apps through Google Play, along with pre-installed features such as Facebook, Twitter, a digital compass and FM Radio. The phone has a stylish "U" form design with premium looks and 3D texture on back for firm grip. The Ascend Y200 takes 5 seconds for boot up and comes with a 3.5-inch IPS touch screen, which enables comfortable viewing for browsing, media and social networking.
The Ascend Y200 is powered with a Qualcomm 800 MHz CPU, which is powerful and fast enough to run all one's favorite apps quickly and efficiently. Its Android 2.3 system brings users features such as an optimized dictionary, new user interface and improved power management.
