Kobian Launches Mercury mTab2 Tablet in India

Kobian, a provider of computer peripherals, has launched its Mercury mTab2 tablet in India. The earlier version of the mTab was one of the first sub-10k models to be launched in the country.
The company said the mTab2’s design and features are ideal for people on the go and those who want to possess a tablet for style and high-quality connectivity.
The Mercury mTab2 is a 7-inch (16:9) capacitive multi-touch tablet powered by a Dual Core 1 Ghz processor. Designed on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it has 8 GB of internal memory and a Micro SD slot supporting up to 32 GB. Video chat and conference is made easier with the mTab2 with its front camera and built-in Wi-Fi feature, which supports IEEE 802.11b/g for convenient browsing anywhere in the Wi-Fi spots. The mTab2 supports most USB 3G dongles available in India making Internet surfing possible anytime, anywhere.
The Mercury mTab2 has a full USB 2.0 port, which allows users to connect any USB device like keyboard, mouse and pen drive to the tablet. It is powered by a super long battery, providing a backup of up to 8 hours.
The mTab2 is highly pocketable as it easily fits inside a jacket pocket or a handbag, making it an ideal device for those who want to stay productive and entertained while on the move. Additional features include full HDMI output along with Flash 10.2 online video and built-in speaker and mic.
