LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (LGEIL) has announced two years extended free service on all LG desktops and notebook PCs. The offer is valid on all PCs purchased between 10th September 2008 and 31st October 2008.
LG said it has announced the initiative keeping in mind that buying in festive season is often expected to be rewarding by the customers. In such a scenario, there is a need of free service that ensures the durability of the product and consumers always feel comfortable with direct company service.
Anil Arora, Business Group Head, PC, Mobile and DAV, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd., said, "It is our constant endeavor to provide the best of services to all our customers and this offer entails a long-term commitment to customers to build upon our outstanding service. We hope that it would be appreciated across the country with an overwhelming response from our customers. The initiative underlines LG's brand commitment to offer consumers the ultimate experience."
"The PC as product becomes obsolete soon, and customers anyway have to invest on its up gradation after 1-2 years. Post the standard warranty, customers have to take the help of dealers or company service center and pay heavy fees for servicing for just diagnosing the problem. At LG, we realized this need of customers and hence launched two years extended free service, which is a first time ever initiative in the industry in the PC segment," added Arora.
