Lenovo Provides Consumers with Respite From Ongoing Recession

Lenovo has introduced a new offer that provides consumers in India with a respite from the ongoing recession. The offer includes gifts such as a BlackBerry handset, Microsoft Office Student Pack, Canon Inkjet printer, Powercom UPS and two-year warranty upgrade, on the purchase of select Lenovo consumer notebooks and desktops.
The offer is open across all Lenovo retail stores in India and will run until March 31, 2009.

With this offer we hope to enable our customers with a technology advantage of some of our best computing products, combined with exciting gifts for added benefits. We are not only extending this offer to products, but also services like additional on-site warranty to deliver an overall exciting experience to our customers," said Ramprasad Lakshminarayanan, Vice President, Transactional Consumer Sales, Lenovo India.
Lenovo is providing a BlackBerry 7130g on the purchase of the Lenovo Y430, Lenovo Y330 or Lenovo G230 notebooks.
The BlackBerry 7130g from Vodafone (worth about Rs. 20,000/-) will include a one-month subscription. This offer is valid on a first-come-first-basis only, making it exclusive to the first 1,000 purchases in India. Consumers can also opt for a Microsoft Office Student Pack, in place of the BlackBerry.
The Lenovo Y430 is a mainstream notebook that features touch sensitive multimedia controls, Dolby Home Theater, One-Key Rescue System and VeriFace facial recognition, a HDMI port in a mainstream notebook for the first time, Gesture Recognition, among others.
