NCR Corp. has named David Miller as its regional vice president for South Asia Pacific (SAPAC). Miller will be responsible for NCR's sales and marketing across the SAPAC region, and growing market share for NCR's full range of products and services.

Miller will be based in Singapore and will report to Peter Leav, senior vice president of NCR's Global Sales organization.

"David is an experienced sales executive with extensive area knowledge who will lead SAPAC by delivering profitable revenue growth across both our core and new industry segments," said Peter Leav.

"David's combination of more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience and extensive knowledge of the Asia Pacific constituencies reflects NCR's commitment to building a customer-focused organization," added Leav.

Miller joins NCR from Lenovo Group, where he was president of Asia Pacific. Under his leadership, Lenovo Asia Pacific grew profit over 45% and emerged to vie for a market leading position. He also has experience in regional roles at Dell and Wyle Labs.

Miller takes over from Delton Yuen, vice president for NCR's Business Strategy and Development for NAPAC region, who was leading NCR's SAPAC region on an interim basis.
