Tokyo, Feb 28, 2013 - ( JCN Newswire ) - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) concluded a contract to acquire Cyber Defense Institute, Inc. (CDI), one of the leading security system diagnosis companies in Japan and a wholly owned subsidiary of Itochu Corporation. NEC is scheduled to complete the 100% acquisition of interest in CDI on March 1, 2013.
CDI specializes in diagnosis and training services in the security area. The company's engineers provide expertise covering a wide range of fields in alignment with international companies. This acquisition enables NEC to provide comprehensive cyber security solutions throughout global markets, including consultation, system implementation and operations.
