Seagate Names Futoshi Niizuma as Exec Director of Sales for S. Asia, ASEAN & ANZ

Seagate has named Futoshi Niizuma as its new executive director of Sales for South Asia, ASEAN and ANZ. Niizuma will assume responsibility for sales, marketing and business development for South Asia in addition to his existing responsibilities as representative director of Nippon Seagate.
"We are pleased to have Futoshi take on his new role," said BanSeng Teh, senior vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific and Japan. "Futoshi has exceptional experience in working with business partners across the region and his excellent leadership skills will enable him to organize and manage sales teams for success in these diverse markets."
"Coupled with the ability to identify opportunities and improve business fundamentals, Futoshi is the ideal candidate to help Seagate take its business in this region to a higher level," added Teh.
Niizuma joined Seagate in October 2010 as the Representative Director of Nippon Seagate responsible for sales and marketing in Japan.
Prior to joining Seagate, he held various senior sales, marketing and management positions including Kenwood Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices.
Niizuma holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Dokkyo University, Japan.
