Spice Mobiles Launches S-940 VAS-Enabled Mobile Phone

Spice Mobiles Ltd. has launched the Spice S-940, a technologically advanced value added service (VAS)-enabled mobile phone. The company said the Spice S-940 is all set to lead a special category of VAS-enabled handsets with features like M-Learning, email2sms and a social networking application.
Spice said its S-940 is a ideal example of 'Learning with Fun'; the company has partnered with the learning portal MGurujee to offer M-Learning, which helps users prepare for competitive exams like CAT, MAT, IIT-JEE, CBSE, etc. Targeted at students and youth, M-Learning gives users the freedom to study and enhance their knowledge while on the move.
The Spice S-940 lets users remain connected through their emails at a great convenience and affordable cost. The phone comes equipped with 'email2sms' service, which provides the email as a SMS(s) in the inbox. Also embedded is ibibo's social networking platform New Friend Finder.
The Spice S-940 features a 2 MP camera with flash, music player, dual speakers, FM with recording and a 1 GB storage card, expandable up to 2 GB. The phone S-940 comes pre-loaded with features like privacy lock, dazzle ringtone, Bluetooth remote control and SMS scheduler, and also includes VAS features such as Opera Mini and Reuters.
The new Spice S-940 mobile phone is now available in India for an MRP of Rs. 5,999/-.
