Delivering Cellular Communicators for 2G, 3G and 4G Networks
to the Canadian Security Market
LAS VEGAS, March 28, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ISC West, Booth #21097 --
Telguard, a division of Telular Corporation (Nasdaq:WRLS), and a leader
in alarm and event monitoring solutions and services, announced today
the availability of its cellular alarm and Personal Emergency Response
Systems (PERS) communicators to Canadian dealers.
Leveraging over 25 years of wireless technology and security expertise,
Telguard cellular alarm and PERS communicators reliably address the
landline sunset and the rise of cellular adoption in Canada. Including
cellular as part of a security system provides dealers with easy to
install, cost-effective hardware and access to many revenue-generating
add-on services.
Telguard's product line for Canada consists of the TG-1 Express primary
residential cellular alarm communicator and Telguard's 3G models
including the TG-4 communicator for small business and residential, the
TG-7 communicator for commercial installations and the TG-P PERS
communicator. To order the Telguard products for Canada, the models
numbers are TG-1XC, TG-4C, TG-7C and the TG-PC respectively.
Designed to work with virtually all alarm and PERS panels using dial
capture, the Telguard product line gives installers the freedom to
proceed with a quick installation regardless of the existing panel
encountered at a site. This capability is critical in the case of
takeovers and essential to the growth of a security dealer's business.
"We are excited to unveil our line of cellular communicators that work
on the latest 2G, 3G and 4G networks to the Canadian market. Thanks to
recent advancements in technology, we have been able to make our
product line more robust and reliable, which is why we chose this year
to deliver our best in class portfolio of cellular solutions to the
Canadian market," said Shawn Welsh, VP of Marketing and Business
Development, Telular Corporation.
The Telguard line offers full data reporting for complete and reliable
alarm transmission. Additionally, the TG-1 Express, TG-4 and TG-7
cellular alarm communicators for intrusion support two-way voice over
cellular and the Telguard Interactive remote arming and disarming
feature over smart phones. These features are cost-effective add-ons
that meet the needs of today's wireless customers and increase dealer's
recurring monthly revenue (RMR).
Telguard products are available starting in April and are currently
showcased in Telguard's booth #21097 at ISC West taking place March 28
through the 30 in Las Vegas.
