Teradata Names Noel Pettitt as Vice President for South Asia

Teradata Corp., a provider of data warehousing and enterprise analytics, announced that Noel Pettitt, has assumed a significantly expanded role with the company following the unification of its South Pacific and South East Asia operations under his leadership.
Previously vice president for Teradata's South Pacific Area, Pettitt is currently relocating from Sydney to Singapore to take up his new role of vice president, South Asia.
The company said Pettitt's promotion to the new role underscores his continued success in leading and growing Teradata's business across key business sectors in the region.

Teradata has unified the two areas under a single senior leadership team as part of a strategic initiative to drive revenue and customer growth as well as enhance customer and partner relationships throughout 2010 and beyond.
As part of the initiative, Teradata's existing professional services, support, sales and marketing teams across the region will now report to Pettitt.
