Unistal Releases Bitdefender 2012 Products in India

Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive partner for Bitdefender products in India and a provider of data security products, has launched the 2012 version of Bitdefender’s products - Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012, Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and Bitdefender Total Security 2012.
Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 will provide protection against viruses, spyware and phishing attempts. It is specifically designed considering basic user’s requirements; whereas Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 is intended for Internet users. It integrates anti-spam, firewall, parental control features to the basic product. As the name suggests Bitdefender Total Security 2012, is the complete security product that comes with additional online backup, fine tune-up, file encryption and file shredder features.
The latest version of Bitdefender products have array of additional features:
- Social Network Protection feature will allow user to monitor privacy settings on Facebook and Twitter, and blocks any threats that links to social media networks. An Anti-fraud Filter will detect fraudulent web sites that are likely to block you from fake banks, escrow and career/employment web sites.
- Rescue mode will reboot your computer in a trusted environment, which is used for cleanup and restoration.
- Bitdefender’s Autopilot feature will make all the security-related decisions for you. Autopilot provides a hassle-free experience by making optimal security-related decisions without any input from the user.
- Improved Search Advisor will provide advance warning of risky web sites right in your Google and Bing search results.
- Virtualized Browser will isolate the browser from the operating system in a Bitdefender-provided environment to block Web-based threats.
- Scan Dispatcher ensures security without sacrificing speed. Smart Scan technology will take advantage of your PC processing power without being a burden. Depending on what other tasks you have running and what resources are available, BitDefender can adjust to optimize operations and maintain maximum speed.
All Bitdefender 2012 solutions include B-HAVE, a technology which analyzes the behavior of potentially malicious codes inside a secure virtual computer environment, eliminating false positives and significantly increasing detection rates for new and unknown malware.
Bitdefender 2012 Active Virus Control (AVC) is a proactive detection technology which uses advanced heuristic methods to detect new potential threats in real time. It monitors each program running on your PC, as it executes, and notes malware-like actions. If enough such actions are detected, the program which performed them is declared harmful. Unlike any other heuristic technology that only checks files when they are accessed or first started, Active Virus Control monitors everything applications do as long as they are active.
