Xerox Announces 'Certified Economic Value' Program in India

Xerox India Ltd. has announced a "Certified Economic Value (CEV)" program, which will allow printers to explore profitable business opportunities in the growing digital print space and grow their business even in the current economic scenario.

Under this program, customers looking for an affordable digital press can choose from a range of pre-owned Xerox Production presses certified on a 29 point health check and offering post-sale service guarantee.

The program, which will cover an array of Xerox pre-owned full color and single color digital presses, will help customers save up to 60% cost in purchase, while guaranteeing quality output at par with similar machines in the market.

Vipin Tuteja, Executive Director, Production Systems Group, Xerox India Ltd., said, "Innovation is the key to sustain and accelerate business momentum in today's business environment. Certified Economic Value program is a first-of-its-kind initiative in the digital print industry in India and offers a great value proposition to the printers, who during these times are looking at ways to invest in an affordable digital press to help complement their existing litho business."

The program essentially serves a threefold objective - a) to address the need of printers (especially in tier 2/3 markets) to own an affordable digital press, b) allow first time digital customers to explore the digital print space as a viable and profitable business opportunity during these tough times and c) help customers own a Xerox digital press serviced and maintained directly by a Xerox service representative.
