introduced a search app for the iPhone, downloadable for free from the
Apple App Store. The Yandex for iPhone app offers iPhone users the
fastest and easiest access to Yandex's search engine, as well as the
access to other websites and Yandex services.

mobile product competition. Initially, it was a simple search app that

The user can enter either a search query or a website address into the
app's search bar -- the app will know what the user is looking for and
will then either offer a page with search results or take the user

finding weather updates or currency exchange information. To provide
users with fast and easy access to their favourite websites, the app
features customizable bookmarks.

Yandex's previously launched apps for the iPhone include Maps, Mail,
