Company Leads on Cause Related Marketing to 40+ Demo

LANGHORNE, Pa., July 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- eGames, Inc. (Pink
Sheets:EGAM) On the heels of the acquisition of Heyday Games, casual
games developer and publisher eGames, Inc. today announced a new cause
related marketing initiative aimed at elevating social responsibility
inside of social games. eGames is developing game content for people
over the age of 40 who are either new to the social graph or are "aging
in" for the first time and are looking for entertainment that feels
familiar and unthreatening. The size of this demographic is enormous
and the opportunity to connect with them emotionally unprecedented.
According to The Pew Research Center, the 40+ demographic is the
fastest growing audience of online/mobile games, now representing 60%
of all internet users. This audience spends more time and money online
than any other demographic with over sixty million active on
Facebook(R) in the United States alone.

As part of a series of targeted marketing campaigns, eGames plans to
incorporate a cause related marketing component designed to bring
positive change and awareness on top of the fun of playing the new
eGames social game experience. More specifically, eGames will donate a
portion of its Heyday Game profits to leading social causes. "Our plan
is to tie our social games in with our social conscience," commented
Rich Siporin -- Vice President Sales and Marketing. "As an emerging
social games company, it is not only our responsibility to create a
world class gaming experience, we also have a social responsibility.
Studies have shown that nothing builds brand loyalty among today's
increasingly hard to please consumers like a company's proven
commitment to a worthy cause. All things being equal, most consumers
would rather do business with a company that stands behind something in
addition to profits," Siporin continued.

"Cause related marketing will be the cornerstone of our marketing plan.
Not only will we be 'doing well by doing good', we will positively
differentiate ourselves from our competitors, highlighting our
reputation within our target market -- people over the age of 40. There
are some great causes available to us and we are currently engaged with
several. The new eGames social game product will deliver a unique
social gaming experience to boomers and young boomers and we believe
there is a natural tie in with causes that touch all aspects of people
over 40," Siporin said.
