The Cloud Hosting Experts head Netcraft's list for the Most Reliable Hosting Company Sites in May 2012

Nottingham, July 2nd, 2012: CWCS Managed Hosting (www.cwcs.co.uk) was named as the most reliable web hosting company for May 2012 by Netcraft (www.netcraft.com), an internet services company which provides data mining, defence against fraud and phishing, and security testing.

The table is created on a monthly basis and lists the top global web hosting companies based on performance and reliability.

Netcraft calculates the winners by using monitoring servers from separate points around the internet to assess the performance of the global hosting companies. Performance measurements are taken every fifteen minutes and the averages are calculated and a monthly chart is created - which was topped in May by CWCS.

As the Netcraft site explains, "From a customer's point of view, the percentage of failed requests is more pertinent than outages on hosting companies' own sites, as this gives a pointer to reliability of routing, and this is why we choose to rank our table by fewest failed requests, rather than shortest periods of outage. In the event the number of failed requests are equal then sites are ranked by average connection times."
