Communications services provider will also sponsor Cricket in the Classroom community programme

Leeds, 25 July 2012: The Yorkshire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a three year partnership with managed communications provider, Kcom, part of the KCOM Group.

Under the agreement, Kcom will become the cricket club's media partner and the sponsor of the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation's "Cricket in the Classroom" programme.

The Kcom Media Centre, which plays host to all the major broadcast channels during the cricket season, forms an impressive part of the Carnegie Pavilion at the club's Headingly Ground.

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, a registered Charity, ensure that maximum funding is available for cricket based charitable programmes and initiatives. Its Cricket in the Classroom has provided a stimulating learning environment for over 24,000 young people over the last 7 years and is based on innovative lessons which extend the experience and fun of the game into a classroom environment.
