Camberley, Surrey, UK - 31 July, 2012 - To support the expanding role of access control solutions that leverage the intelligence of the network, Telindus announced today that it has achieved Identity Services Engine (ISE) Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. This designation recognises Telindus as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco ISE products and solutions.
The Cisco ISE platform is a comprehensive, next-generation, contextually-based access control solution that offers exceptional visibility and control to ensure a highly secure enterprise and efficiently enforce security policy across an entire distributed network. The Cisco ISE offers authenticated network access, profiling, posture, and guest management along with monitoring, reporting and troubleshooting capabilities on a single physical or virtual appliance. The Cisco ISE enables scalable and flexible enforcement mechanisms leveraging existing identity-aware network infrastructure, and ships on a wide range of physical appliances with different performance settings to address multiple deployment requirements.
Marek Lowther, managing director of Telindus, stated: "Telindus wholly believes in providing our customers with the best business outcome through investing in the right technologies to meet current and future needs. Achieving ISE ATP status is important to us in two ways:
As one of a handful of organisations in the UK to gain ISE ATP accreditation, it is an example of our continued technology leadership and strong heritage in delivering secure networks to our customers.
Our Network Access Control solutions allow our customers to exploit new productivity enhancing business initiatives, such as Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), mobility and guest computing, as well as addressing their compliance obligations."
The Cisco ATP program is part of the go-to-market strategy for Cisco ISE solutions. The program helps define the knowledge, skills and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy and support ISE solutions.
