EEPC INDIA a Trade Promotion Body under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India actively promoting Trade between Indian and rest of the world organized series of Buyer- Seller Meets (BSM) from 8th - 12th March 2010 in the Industrial Cities of New Delhi, Ludhiana, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.

March 12, 2010 /India PRwire/ -- EEPC INDIA a Trade Promotion Body under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India actively promoting Trade between Indian and rest of the world organized series of Buyer- Seller Meets (BSM) from 8th - 12th March 2010 in the Industrial Cities of New Delhi, Ludhiana, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.

On 11th March 2010 at Hotel Grand Hyatt Mumbai, EEPC India (Western Region) has successfully conducted the Buyer-Seller Meet. Her Excellency, Ms. Busi Kuzwayo, Consul General of South Africa, His Excellency Mr. David Tyler, Deputy Consul General of United States of America and Shri Shailesh Singh, Jt. DGFT, Mumbai were the important dignitaries who inaugurated the event. This BSM provided a unique platform for Indian Engineering Companies to meet the Overseas Buyers in India and get an overall exposure of Small, Medium and Large Entrepreneurs from different countries of the world. 95 % of Indian and Overseas delegates rated the meets as satisfactory/ excellent. More than USD 3.65 milllion worth of enquiries were generated during the meet.

H.E. Ms. Busi Kuzwayo expressed her happiness to be a part of the opening ceremony of such an Important Occasion and expressed that this is a good opportunity to South African Delegates to meet the Indian small and medium entrepreneurs from important industrial centres of India and extended her help to further boost exports between the two countries.

H.E. Mr. David Tyler Deputy Consul General of United States of America expressed that during the recessionary period also India is trying to boost the engineering exports to the different parts of the world .Mr. Tyler expressed that India and USA are the two largest democracies of the world and natural partners in trade and business.

Approx 60 Delegates from USA Canada , Africa ,Latin America, Gulf and Europe met more than 150 engineering companies at both the centre. From the Feedback Forms collected from the Overseas Buyers and the Indian Participants, there were about 34 Overseas delegates expressed their opinion from Satisfied to Excellent. Approximately 95% of the Foreign delegates &Indian Delegates were happy with the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet. There were about USD 3.65 million dollar worth of enquiries were generated.
