ASUS Introduces EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/ 256M Graphics Card

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. has introduced the EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/ 256M graphics card. The card is CrossFire ready as well as features the ASUS GPU-on-the-back ReverseCool Technology, which delivers high-efficiency cooling at absolute quiet 0db. The graphics card is now available worldwide.
Powered by the ATI Radeon X1300PRO and incorporated various ASUS features, the EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/ 256M is said to provide a superb visual experience.

The Extreme AX1300PRO SILENT/TD/ 256M has adopted a unique cooling solution that positions the GPU (graphics processing unit) and heatsink on the reverse of the graphics card, placing them directly in the airflow path of the CPU fan for fast heat dissipation and provides a larger heat exchange area.
The extended heatsink has a clamshell design, which enables users to open up the heatsink, like a clamshell phone, for enhanced ventilation. By leveraging the CPU fan, the ASUS graphics card is fanless and operates at 0dB for quiet computing.
The graphics card also features several innovative ASUS solutions that include:
- SPLENDID Video Intelligence Technology, which is built into the driver of ASUS graphics cards, detects activation and usage of video applications and automatically optimizes image quality for the best visual results. The technology provides five modes for best visual results in different video applications (Standard, Game, Theater, Scenery and Night).
- GameFace Messenger is a user-friendly interface similar to those of the most popular messenger services to streamline the process of inviting multiple players to a gameferences (game conferences). GameFace Messenger is as easy as the free messengers currently in the market.
- GameLiveShow is created to allow gamers to stream broadcast their gaming experiences live over the Internet. Other players can now go online to check out how the experts really do it.
- ASUS GameReplay records gaming action into MPEG4 video files so that teams can review all the moves and tactics to improve for the next tournament. The recorded files can also be used as screen savers or posted on blogs.
The ASUS EAX1300PRO SILENT/TD/ 256M graphics card is available in India for an approximate end-user price of Rs. 6,864/- (plus taxes).
