The Latest Addition to the AudioCodes Family of E-SBCs
Addresses the Increased Adoption of SIP Trunk Services by
               Large Enterprises and Contact Centers

LOD, Israel, July 2, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AudioCodes (Nasdaq:AUDC),
a leading provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies and Voice
Network products, today announced the launch of the Mediant 4000
Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC), a highly scalable
addition to the Company's family of Mediant E-SBC products. Based on
AudioCodes field-proven SBC technology and products, and using state of
the art network processors and digital signal processors, the Mediant
4000 offers large enterprises and contact centers secured and reliable
connectivity to SIP trunks and hosted services supporting up to 4,000
concurrent sessions per device.

With the Mediant 4000 deployed at their larger offices and data
centers, enterprises can benefit from seamless interconnection between
their own IP-PBXs, unified communications systems or contact centers
and multiple SIP trunking providers, while maintaining high VoIP
quality and protecting their network from malicious or fraudulent
security threats. The Mediant 4000 also fits in hosted environments for
providing local survivability in case of WAN failure or a service
outage.

The Mediant 4000 offers advanced resiliency by supporting
active-standby high availability and connectivity to multiple SIP
service nodes. Furthermore, the Mediant 4000 E-SBC, along with
AudioCodes Session Experience Manager (SEM), provides enterprises a
complete view of their networks' voice quality.

"The introduction of Mediant 4000 is a significant addition to our
E-SBC portfolio," said Nimrod Borovsky, VP Marketing at AudioCodes. "We
are now able to provide a range of E-SBCs that effectively fits a wide
variety of organizations and locations, from small businesses and
branch offices to very large enterprise premises and contact center
facilities."
